A YOUNG INFLUENCER INDUCING CONFIDENCE AND SELF-LOVE: STEPHANIE

Meet Stephanie, an 18-year old Social media influencer from Livingston, New Jersey. She wants to voice the idea of having enough confidence and self-love to laugh at ourselves. Once can check her content on Instagram by the handle @stupidsteff for a casual and light-hearted comedy.

Stephanie describes how he became an influencer.

Stephanie says that she started playing drums when she was just two years old and continued to play. Later, she studied music management for 12 years. Stephanie decided that sharing her stories online was more of her passion. Hence, at present, she is a social media personality.

Stephanie elucidates the struggles of her early life.

Stephanie states that she dealt with a lot of bullies, anxiety, and depression in high school. ‘I was in such a hole at one point in my life where I could not do anything including attending school, where I missed so many days, and they asked me to make up the credits at another school.’ adds Stephanie. In the earlier days, she was able to handle the mean girls that came her way. However, it just got progressively worse when others hacked her social media accounts and emails. Stephanie felt that those girls completely controlled her.

Stephanie’s entry into the world of social media

Stephanie says that she started uploading her videos on Triller. Later, she moved to Instagram. ‘The whole purpose of my Instagram Reels is to be yourself and to be able to share the negatives and embarrassing stories that we all face and bring light to it. We should be able to overcome it and feel secure enough to post it publicly to help others.’ marks Stephanie. She mentions that she loves making people laugh, even if she has to put herself down to make someone else feel better.

Success highlighted by Stephanie in her career

Stephanie states that she initially started using Triller as her central platform for content. However, within a couple of months, she received over 80k views, along with Brody Jenner commenting on one of her videos. Later, she started posting reels on Instagram in July 2021. Within three months, Stephanie received over 1million views and gained around 23k followers.

The inspiration behind Stephanie’s content creation

Stephanie says that in her difficult days, she began watching Emma Chamberlain and Tana Mongeau and idolized them for being able to share themselves in such a vulnerable position on the internet. It helped her, and she wanted to do that for others, especially young girls who were going through what Stephanie had experienced.
