One day while sitting in the barbershop, Ja’Baree overheard his barber and a few others talking about how women were losing their edges following a trend wherein women were no longer wearing their natural hair. Instead, they are using glue or adhesives to secure wigs on top of their hair. It is damaging their hairline and causing their edges to come out. Overhearing that conversation intrigued Ja’Baree, and he wanted to solve that problem. A few weeks later, his first e-commerce start-up Euphorik Labs, was born with their feature product, being Lace Master Before & After is a 3 in 1 solution. Its purpose is to clean the hairline, protect the edges and remove lace wigs without the hassle.

Ja’Baree believes that the key to his success has been keeping God first, his ambition, and his willingness to learn from every situation. ‘I always do tons of research looking to gain more knowledge.’ adds Allen.

A moment that changed Ja’Baree’s life

Allen mentions that the most life-changing moment of his career was meeting his mentor at FSU, DR. Jim Denver. He says that his mentor was the first one to believe in him and his vision as an entrepreneur.

Allen envisioning a bright future

‘My long-term vision is to build the Lace Master Slay Academy, a world-class beauty school developed to educate and empower hair enthusiasts globally.’ says Ja’Baree. Moreover, he wants to provide single mothers with scholarships and free mentoring to become successful entrepreneurs.
